Fascinating Rhythm (414.01)     Programme note:    One of his most recorded songs, Fascinating Rhythm was written by Gershwin in 1924 with lyrics by his brother Ira, for the Broadway show, Lady be Good.    Performance note:    Take a bright tempo and play with light, rhythmic style.  Quavers should by swung througout apart from in the waltz feel section, J to L  The accompaniment off-beat rhythms may be difficult to co-ordinate: avoiding heavy articulation and feeling the tempo as 2 in a bar should help.
