44 Duos (Neuheit Posaune) Originally for two violins, the 44 Duos for Two Trombones beautifully arranged by Ralph Sauer are based on peasant melodies (with two exceptions) and were published in order of difficulty. The 44 Duos in total are about 43-55 minutes in length, however, Mr. Sauer recommends choosing some from different sections of the collection and performing them as a suite. The difficulty of the duos ranges from intermediate to quite advanced. The sample below will attempt to reflect that.
