slow drip (4Trp) (Neuheit Trompete) Competition-style flashy trumpet quartet, premiered by the University of Kentucky Trumpet Quartet at the 2022 National Trumpet Competition at the University of Delaware, and recorded on the 2023 UK Trumpet Ensemble CD, "Labyrinths." All four parts are challenging, but trumpets 2, 3, and 4 do not have significant range or endurance challenges. The 1st part, however, is exclusively on piccolo trumpet and requires the player to play many high Fs and a couple Gs (which could be taken to a lower chord tone as needed.)
