The title derives from a lifelong philosophy offered by the composers mother, Betty, on confronting adversity and loss: "never stop, just keep moving"—wisdom that infuses the work with both resilience and forward momentum. The album concludes with Chesapeake, a brass quintet work that aurally depicts three sailing journeys on the Chesapeake Bay. Together, these works create a compelling musical journey of exploration and perseverance.
