In the Bleack Midwinter (414.01 - Sopran Solo ad lib.) (Programme note: This arrangement of Holsts famous hymn was made to feature a boy treble with chamber orchestra. This re-arrangement is for soprano or trumpet solo and brass. Performance note: Play expressively but dolce throughout. The accompaniment in verse 2 should be light and slightly detached but the line should be evident through the voices. A solo trumpet can substitute for the solo voice if not available)
