A Winters Night (Flügelhorn/Trumpet) A Winters Night was a musical Fathers Day card I wrote for my dad a few years ago. He started me on my musical journey and has remained my greatest mentor. As we are both lovers of long walks in the snow I was intrigued by the idea of setting one to music and trying to capture the mystery and magic of a snowy winters night. Originally written for trombone and piano, Dr. Anne McNamara, the Assistant Professor of Trumpet at Campbellsville University, commissioned this adaptation for flügelhorn (or trumpet) and piano.
